UPDATE @ 5:00 p.m.: This morning's service outage has been resolved. All systems are available and no data was lost during the outage. We apologize for any problems caused by this outage. UPDATE @ 4:15 p.m.: No change in status. C&IT system engineers continue to work closely with our vendor's senior support team.
UPDATE @ 1:20 p.m.: Another temporary workaround is now in place: you can login to STARS.
UPDATE @ 12:45 p.m.: A temporary workaround is in place to allow faculty to use Academica to upload Final Grades and download class lists.
UPDATE @ 11:45 a.m.: C&IT expects the affected systems to be unavailable throughout this afternoon.
We are working with our vendor's senior support staff to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Additionally, C&IT system engineers are investigating potential workarounds for the affected systems.

Holiday closure at Wayne State is almost here and we want to remind everybody that the C&IT service and support centers keep the same schedule as the rest of the university.
The C&IT Help Desk and Learning Management Systems Support (for Blackboard assistance) will be available during normal hours until noon on December 24. We will reopen with the university on January 4.
Messages left for C&IT support teams will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis beginning on January 4. To report a system or network outage or for an emergency password reset during Winter Break, please call Enterprise Operations at (313) 577-4750.

If your Mac computer connected to Wi-Fi last year, but doesn't work this year, you need to setup WSU-SECURE again. Follow these step-by-step instructions to fix your problem.
Don't forget that during the campus upgrade to VoIP phones, you need to dial 9 + 1 + the full ten digit phone number for your on campus calls. For example, reach the C&IT Help Desk by dialing 9-1-313-577-4357.
Are you having issues syncing your Wayne State email to your Android or iOS device? Change your password and give it another try - this has solved syncing problems for nearly all of our users.
If you just rejoined Wayne State after some time away, your email account may not have been upgraded to the new Wayne Connect - Powered by Microsoft. Every account will be upgraded by the end of the month, but you can contact the C&IT Help Desk to get your upgrade within about one business day.
