C&IT is aware of the system problem and we are working to restore normal service. In the meantime, there is a temporary workaround for students to find CRNs and register for classes: Access WSU Pipeline and click on the Student tab. Under Registration, click Register/Add/Drop to begin. (In Academica, click Student Resources, then Registration to find Register/Add/Drop.) Click Register -- Add/Drop Classes, then choose the term for which you want to register and click the Submit button. If you have not already done so, you will now need to read and agree to select Wayne State policies. Click the Class Search button (located below the Add Classes Worksheet) to find the CRN for your course. Select your subject, then click View Sections next to the class you wish to take. Write down the five-digit CRN for your section. Click New Search to search for CRNs for each of the courses for which you are registering. Click Return to Menu, then access Register --  Add/Drop Classes again. Enter your CRNs in the Add Classes Worksheet, then click Submit Changes. Verify that you successfully registered for each of your classes. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We have received reports of slow response time, difficulty logging in, and sessions disconnecting. C&IT staff members have been assigned to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. During times when Pipeline is not operating normally, please be patient, or try using Pipeline again after 15-20 minutes. Remember, you can always bypass Pipeline and access the following systems directly: Blackboard, Banner, Cognos, STARS, and Wayne Connect.
