There are three ways you may be officially declared Cyber Security Aware at Wayne State University. Choose from one of the three options below to earn your certification.
Option One: Security Awareness Test
Score at least 85 percent on the C&IT Security Awareness Test on the first try to be automatically certified. You may try the test first and sign up for one of the options below if you still have more to learn. Allow approx. 20 minutes for the test. Take the test online anytime. Results are immediate. Only one attempt is allowed.

Option Two: Security Training Video
C&IT is offering a security awareness training video course. You can view this video at any time right here.
Option Three: Security Awareness Training
Join C&IT Information Security Officer Kevin Hayes and Faculty Liason Geoff Nathan for a two-hour cyber security training session. This overview of the most important cyber security topics will teach you the basics, share lots of tips on how to keep yourself safe and give you a chance to ask any questions you have about cyber security.
