About the Software Clearinghouse
What is it?
The Wayne State Software Clearinghouse is part of the Division of Computing & Information Technology (C&IT).
The goal of the Software Clearinghouse is to:
- Reduce the cost of desktop software that has universal interest through volume purchase agreements and site licensing,
- Promote software anti-piracy and encourage patrons to comply with licensing requirements.
Who can use it?
C&IT's Software Clearinghouse offers students, faculty, and staff discounted software that can be purchased with a credit card from a secure Website, such as Microsoft and Adobe products. Faculty and staff can also purchase discounted software to use for instructional, research, and work-related purposes for WSU machines. Work-at-Home use is permitted and specified by product.
