Using WSU's Proxy Server to Access Web Resources Limited to WSU Users

Because of licensing requirements, certain databases and systems on Wayne State Web sites are available for the exclusive use of WSU students, faculty, and staff. This includes the WSU Library Databases and the Banner System Training materials. (WSU Libraries may permit database use by persons not affiliated with Wayne State in WSU Libraries only.)

Special note for AOL users

The WSU proxy server does not work with the built-in AOL Web browser. In order to use the WSU proxy server to access resources limited to WSU users, you must install and use a different Web browser.

If you have Microsoft's Internet Explorer already installed on your computer, you can use it. If you don't have a Web browser on your computer, install one of the browsers listed on the C&IT Help Desk Supported Software page.
