The following service providers offer special discounts for Wayne State University employees and/or students:
AT&T discounts for employees
AT&T Mobility is proud to offer Wayne State University employees special discounts on their cellular equipment and service. (This includes staff, faculty, represented employees, Stipends employees, non-reps, Housing staff, GRAs, RAs, and residents.)
These benefits include:
- 15 percent discount on all voice and data rate plans of $39.99 and higher.
- Government level equipment pricing on new activations and eligible upgrades via the Premier ordering portal.
- 20 percent discount on cell phones (except iPhone) and accessories.
- Access to business class customer service (800) 331-0500.
To obtain these discounts, employees must take proof of their employment to any corporate-owned retail location in the U.S. and request that FAN number 2387450 be added to the their account. The retail staff will then obtain a copy of the proof of employment for auditing requirements and attach the discount to the employee account. Employees may also visit https://www.wireless.att.com/business/authenticate, and follow the instructions that are sent to their wayne.edu domain e-mail address to take advantage of the offering.
Please note: Discounts are not eligible on iPhone service and equipment. If a discount becomes available in the future, it will automatically be applied to the account.
