Wayne State has partnered with Merit Network Inc. and Ruckus Network Inc. to provide WSU students, faculty, and staff with a safe and legal way for them to obtain and share digital media. The Ruckus Network's Media Service also is another way to connect with the campus community and network with friends.
Ruckus is a completely legal, ad-supported music and video/movie service geared exclusively to the college community. Currently, the Ruckus music library contains 3.2+ million tracks in a continuously growing robust music library licensed directly from all the major label providers, as well as numerous Indie labels and aggregate providers. The Ruckus movie library contains over 3,000 titles.
