How do I set up and use my phone headset?

Follow the steps below to set up and use your Plantronics Encore Pro HW710 or HW720 headset.

It is necessary to change the phone settings on your telephone instrument.

1. Connect Amplifier Cord to Headset Cord.
2. Connect Amplifier Cord to Headset Outlet on back of telephone.
3. Press the Gear Button on your phone.
4. Arrow right to Audio Mode.
5. Press Select.
6. Arrow down to Headset.
7. Press Save.
8. You will return to Audio Mode.
9. Down arrow to Headset.
10. Press Select.
11. Right arrow to Headset Mic Vol.
12. Press Save.
13. Press Select.
14. Arrow down to DHSG.
15. Right arrow to DHSG is ON.
16. Press Save.
17. Press Quit.

Follow the steps below to set up and use your Plantronics CS540 cordless headset.

It is necessary to change the settings on your telephone instrument.

1. Do not unplug handset from phone.
2. Plug headset into the accessory jack on back of phone.
3. Press the Gear Key.
4. Press the Right Arrow to Audio Mode.
5. Press Select.
6. Toggle to Headset/Speaker.
7. Press Save.
8. Arrow Down to Headset.
9. Press Select.
10. Headset Mic Vol - Right arrow.
11. Press Down Arrow to Select Setting.
12. Press Left Arrow.
13. Arrow Down to DHSG.
14. Arrow Right.
15. Arrow Down to DHSG.
16. Save.
