I've encountered an error while using ApplicationXtender (AX) Web Access:

- Report a new imaging problem by filling out the Document Management Problem Form.
Who can use ApplicationXtender (AX) Web Access and how to gain access to the system:
- AX Web Access is available to authorized WSU employees.
- To gain access to the system, the Business Manager authorizing your access must fill out the Banner Access Request Form, checking "Imaging/ApplicationXtender" box and submit to the Computing and Information Technology (C&IT) Information Security Office. If you are unsure who your Business Manager is you can reference the Business Managers Roster.

What if I forget my AccessID password or want to change my password?
- Your AX Web Access password is the same password you use to log into the Banner Administrative System.
- If you forget your password or need help with resetting it, contact the Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) Help Desk at (313) 577-4778 or helpdesk@wayne.edu.
Hardware and software requirements for ApplicationXtender:

Hardware

- Dual monitors are NOT required to use ApplicationXtender, however, they may be desired for users who are expected to spend much of their time in Banner and Xtender concurrently.

Software

ApplicationXtender (AX) Web Access requires the installation of several ActiveX controls, a set of rules for how applications share information.

Local administrator privileges are needed to install the ActiveX controls on a Windows XP computer.

ActiveX controls are automatically installed during the first use of ApplicationXtender in the Banner Administrative System.

An AXClientInstaller is available for departmental technical support staff who manage desktop computers for employees who do not have administrator privileges.

Internet Explorer 7 and 8 are the web browsers that support the vendor's requirements. Internet Explorer 6.0 (SP3) support has been dropped.

Windows XP, Vista and 7 are supported operating systems certified for use with ApplicationXtender (AX) by the vendor, as of the AX 6.5 release.
