WSU E-mail feature — Mail forwarding
The WSU AccessID is a unique identification code assigned to each WSU applicant/student
and faculty and staff person. It is the key to accessing computing services
and resources at Wayne State. One of these resources is WSU E-mail.
If, however, you use another e-mail address regularly (Yahoo, HotMail, etc.),
you may want to use the WSU E-mail forwarding feature to send your e-mail
there to make sure you get it.
Why set mail forwarding
Consider the following e-mail that may be sent to your WSU E-mail address:
- An important message from a student or instructor.
- The WSU Public Safety monthly crime report along with safety tips.
- A note from the WSU president.
- Correspondence from a friend or acquaintance who found your name and e-mail
address in the WSU
Directory.
