Banner System Access from Home

Here are some important points to note about accessing the Banner System on a home computer:

Banner is available Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to midnight. For the most up-to-date information, check the C&IT System Status page.
WSU employees who are authorized to use Banner can access it from home by logging in to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) and installing the Network Connect software. Read more about using VPN to access restricted WSU resources.
The home computer must meet the Administrative Desktop Computer Specifications for Banner. A high-speed Internet connection is required.
Before accessing Banner, the Java Plug-in must be installed and configured. Macintosh computers with the current OS updates installed will have the required Java Plug-in version.
