Description
A Guest AccessID provides certain individuals (i.e., guests) who are not employees or students of the university access to some Wayne State services.
The Guest ID is for people whose affiliation with the university is in a capacity directly supporting or benefiting the university's academic or administrative activities, such as an instructor not being paid by Wayne State, a doctor or employee in the University Physicians Group (WSUPG), short-term contractors, or attendees at a conference.

Getting Started
Guests must have a sponsor who is a full-time employee of Wayne State University, fill out the form (see below) and certify that the access to the needed service supports a university purpose or activity.

- Bulk Guest ID request form — for five or more people
Notes
- To request access to Banner, you will have to have the Business Managers - Access Request Form filled out by a WSU Business Manager after receiving the Guest ID.
- To request access to STARS, you will need to request access through the Office of the Registrar after receiving the Guest ID
- To request access to the restricted library resources from off-campus (using the EZproxy service), you will need to request access from the Library System by filling out the Special Request for Remote Access to Library Resources Form after receiving the Guest ID.
