C&IT's communications to the campus community

E-mail notices
In addition to broadcast messages, Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) uses the campus E-mail System to send informative messages about topics of interest and importance to students, faculty, and staff. Topics cover such areas as software upgrades, computer system availability, and new computing services, such as free music downloads.

Online computing news
One section of the C&IT home page at computing.wayne.edu is devoted to Latest News. Items in this section cover a variety of topics of interest to students, faculty, and staff — in particular, updates on computing and network problems. Often the information in an e-mail notice also is posted here so that it is easy to reread when necessary. All computing news items are archived for reference.

Printed brochures and flyers
C&IT distributes many brochures and flyers about WSU computing services on WSU's main and medical campuses and at the suburban extension centers. Students can find these materials online or in the libraries and in the Campus Information Center in the Student Center. Faculty and staff also can find the material online. In addition, if faculty or staff would like additional copies of a specific brochure or flyer for an orientation program, a class, or for a whole department, they can send an e-mail request to C&IT Marketing at cit@wayne.edu.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY @ WAYNE.EDU newsletter
This large-format newsletter informs the WSU community about computing and information technology developments and success stories across campus. Initiatives we showcase use the university-wide resources and services C&IT provides. Copies are distributed in bulk thru Campus Mail to WSU departments and offices and are displayed in student gathering places. For additional copies, please send an e-mail request to C&IT Marketing at cit@wayne.edu. PDF files for back issues are linked off C&IT's Website.
